The veteran Nascar driver Mark Martin will share the No. 8 Chevrolet with the rookie Aric Almirola in the 2008 Sprint Cup season. Martin and Almirola take over for Dale Earnhardt Jr., who left Dale Earnhardt Inc. after last season to join Hendrick Motorsports.
