ESPN.com's Chris Sheridan has a good read about Jason Kidd's leadership role on Team USA. He's 38-0 in international play and the only player on the squad loaded with bronze winners who has an Olympic gold.
Even with Kidd's experience, though, I can't see the justification for him playing more minutes than Deron Williams and Chris Paul. They're simply superior players at this point.
