Big Ed Sefko wrote about Antoine Wright and Gerald Green, a couple of young, athletic swingmen who might have significant roles in the Mavs' future but are fighting for minutes right now.

There's a logjam at swingman at the moment. But there will be a stretch of the season when the Mavs need Wright and/or Green to give them quality minutes.

Jerry Stackhouse has talked about getting in really good shape instead of pretty good shape, but the Mavs must expect for him to sit out at least 15 games this season. He's missed at least that many games in each of his four seasons as a Mav, and it'd be foolish to expect that trend to end during a season in which he'll turn 34.

When Stack needs some time off, Wright and/or Green better be ready.
