OXNARD, Calif. -- The Dallas Cowboys have come to an agreement with fourth-round pick Tashard Choice on a four-year contract, according to sources.

They are very close to a four-year agreement with their second-round pick, former Texas A&M tight end Martellus Bennett as well. He’s expected to sign a contract sometime Thursday morning.

Choice comes into camp, which opens with practices Friday, as the team’s No. 3 running back behind Marion Barber and still-unsigned Felix Jones. At Georgia Tech, Choice led the Atlantic Coast Conference in rushing as a junior and a senior. He set a Georgia Tech record with 18 career 100-yard rushing performances.

Should Bennett sign as expected Thursday morning, that will leave first round picks Jones and Mike Jenkins as the team’s only unsigned draftees as they prepare to fly for training camp.

Both have been offered five-year deals, but neither signing is expected right away.
